Full Job Description

Stockroom Clerk

Location: Irvine, CA 92618
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Shift: 1st Shift | 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Pay Rate: $26/hour (W2)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Stockroom Clerk to support warehouse and inventory operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with inventory control, material handling, cycle counting, forklift operation, and computerized inventory systems.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against shipping documents.
Perform inventory transactions using a computerized inventory system (Costpoint experience is a plus).
Pick, kit, and issue materials to the production/assembly team.
Perform cycle counts and physical inventory to maintain inventory accuracy.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Operate digital counting scales and other stockroom equipment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following PPE and safety procedures.
Operate a forklift and company vehicle for material pickups and deliveries.
Support other warehouse and facility tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum 1 year of stockroom, warehouse, inventory, or material handling experience.
Forklift operating experience is required.
Experience using computerized inventory systems and data entry.
Basic Microsoft Office and computer skills.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Preferred Skills

Inventory control and cycle counting.
Material receiving and shipping.
Assembly kitting and order fulfillment.
Costpoint inventory system experience (preferred).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs frequently.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, reaching, climbing, and carrying materials throughout the shift.

Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour
