Full Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Processor to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately processing customer orders, managing inventory movements, and ensuring timely fulfillment to support seamless warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, familiarity with warehouse management systems, and experience in order picking and shipping processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to efficient distribution workflows within a fast-paced environment committed to excellence.

Duties

Receive and review incoming customer orders through various channels, ensuring completeness and accuracy
Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to pick, pack, and prepare items for shipment
Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely for stock movement
Verify inventory levels using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems and update stock records accordingly
Pack products securely following packaging standards to prevent damage during transit
Load and unload shipments efficiently using appropriate equipment such as load & unload lifts
Are able to move around microwaves or AC’s up to 40lbs
Coordinate with shipping & receiving departments to schedule pickups and deliveries
Maintain accurate records of order processing activities within AS400 or similar systems
Assist with stocking, replenishment, and organization of warehouse distribution areas
Support order fulfillment tasks including order picking, packing, and labeling for e-commerce orders
Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all warehouse operations

Skills

Proven experience in warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and AS400 platforms
Skilled in operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely
Strong knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and order fulfillment processes
Familiarity with warehouse distribution practices and inventory management techniques
Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for order quantities and measurements
Experience with order picker roles, stocking, packing, and order picking activities
Knowledge of MRPs (Material Requirements Planning) systems for inventory control
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments involved in logistics operations
