Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager - Food for a direct hire opportunity in Riverside, CA. This role is ideal for a hands-on operations leader with deep food manufacturing experience, strong technical knowledge, and a passion for building efficient, safe, and high-performing production environments.

The Manufacturing Manager will oversee daily plant operations, lead production teams, ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the facility. This is a high-impact leadership role within a fast-paced food and beverage production environment where quality, safety, teamwork, and operational excellence are top priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily food processing plant operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met.
Lead, train, coach, and develop production teams while fostering a positive, safe, and productive work environment.
Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, OSHA, FSMA, environmental regulations, and internal quality control procedures.
Manage production schedules, staffing levels, inventory flow, and coordination with procurement, distribution, and other internal teams.
Analyze production data, track KPIs, identify process improvement opportunities, and support Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives.
Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair needs to minimize downtime and support operational efficiency.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $120,000 to $125,000 per year.
Job type: Direct hire.
Location: Riverside, CA.
