AhbA is a new-American restaurant in Laguna Beach, CA. Our goal is to profitably serve exceptionally delicious food and drinks while maintaining impeccable service in a thoughtful, warm and inviting environment...

About us:

A cozy beachside cottage nestled on PCH, AhbA began humbly serving the SoLag community in the summer of 2019. Starting with brunch, we slowly developed a following, leading to the introduction of dinner service, craft beer, cocktails and a natural wine program.

Originally from the Los Angeles area, our chef/owner saw an opportunity to cultivate an experience reminiscent of LA neighborhoods such as Venice Beach or tight Eastside pockets along sunset, where diners enjoy unique curbside fare and captivating conversation.

From the beginning we've held a strong sense of community and pride ourselves on providing guests with quality ingredients in a warm, welcoming environment.

```Duties```
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure efficiency and consistency in food production
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock levels
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with the management team to create menus and specials that meet customer preferences and dietary restrictions
- Monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen area
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

- Create weekly kitchen schedule for all cooks, dish and BOH team members

```Qualifications```
- Previous experience as an established Kitchen Manager in a fast-paced kitchen
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in cash handling procedures
- Customer service-oriented mindset
