Frank Darling is a female-founded fine jewelry brand making custom engagement rings feel exciting, personal, and refreshingly human. Known for our modern design and sustainability-minded approach, we've been featured in Vogue, WSJ, Bloomberg, Glossy, and more.

We're looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to own the full customer journey — from the first email someone gets, to the SMS that nudges them to book an appointment, to the webpage they land on after clicking an ad, to the tactics that keep them engaged (or bring them back) after their first purchase.

This isn't just an email/SMS role. You'll manage the day-to-day of our Klaviyo program, but you'll also be a strategic partner on how we think about retention, conversion, and the customer experience end to end — including where our website and landing pages help or hurt that journey, and what tools or platforms we should be using to do this better.

You'll work closely with our Director of Marketing, our graphic designer, our copywriter, and our web/dev resources, and you'll partner with our PR and paid media agencies where our journeys intersect with their work.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Email & SMS

Own the Klaviyo program end to end: flow strategy, build, scheduling, segmentation, list health, and reporting
Manage and optimize existing flows (welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, etc.) and build new ones as needs arise
Partner with our copywriter and graphic designer to keep every send on-brand, on-voice, and genuinely useful to the person receiving it
Report on core lifecycle metrics (open/click/conversion rates, revenue attribution, list growth and health) and turn that reporting into a testing roadmap

Customer Journey & Conversion

Evaluate and improve the website experience for returning and warm traffic — e.g., whether our homepage does enough to communicate what makes Frank Darling different, and where else in the journey we're leaving conversion on the table
Scope and help build landing pages for paid campaigns
Identify moments in the journey (post-appointment, post-purchase, post-browse) where a better experience or message would move someone forward

Retention & Churn

Research and recommend retention marketing platforms and tools that could extend what we can do beyond Klaviyo
Build and manage a retention program once tooling is in place — loyalty, replenishment/upgrade triggers, win-back campaigns, etc.
Explore and implement churn prediction and reduction tactics, working with our data/analytics resources to identify at-risk customers and design interventions

Cross-Functional

Act as the connective tissue between marketing, web/dev, and any external retention or CRM tooling partners
Bring a point of view to broader campaign and brand conversations on how lifecycle and retention should show up in bigger launches and promotions

Requirements and Experience:

5+ years in lifecycle/CRM/retention marketing, ideally for a consumer brand; agency-side experience is fine if paired with real ownership of a program
Deep hands-on experience with Klaviyo (or a comparable ESP) — flows, segmentation, deliverability, testing
A track record of thinking beyond the inbox: comfortable weighing in on website/landing page experience and conversion, not just email copy and design
Familiarity with retention or loyalty platforms (evaluating and/or implementing one is a plus)
Analytical enough to build a churn/retention framework from scratch, but able to translate that into plain-language recommendations for the team
Strong collaborator — this role sits at the intersection of creative, web, data, and brand, and needs someone who can work well across all of them
A genuine interest in high-consideration, high-touch purchases (jewelry, weddings, or similar categories) is a plus, but not required

Full-time on-site role located in Tribeca
Sits within the Marketing team, reporting to the Director of Marketing
Salary: $80–100K
