Job Summary:
The PCBA Assembler will assemble electronic components onto circuit boards and perform routine electronic and mechanical assembly operations at unit and module assembly level using blueprints, work instructions, ECO’s, deviations, drawings, diagrams, and written processes. In addition, the Assembler will assemble and inspect components, parts, subassemblies, assemblies, and conformal coating.
1st shift : Monday through Friday, 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and repair printed circuit boards (PCBs) by following detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and surface mount technology (SMT) techniques to mount components accurately
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to ensure correct component placement and wiring
- Build electrical panels and electro-mechanical assemblies in accordance with IPC 610 standards for quality and workmanship
- Apply coatings (acrylic, silicone, or urethane) using manual spray guns, brushes, or automated selective coating machines.
- Operate UV curing systems and thermal ovens following exact drying cycles.
- Inspect boards under UV light for voids, bubbles, or bridging. Manually touch up missed areas and rework defective coatings.
- Perform electrical wiring, soldering, and surface mount assembly while adhering to safety protocols
- Perform any rework from test failures in accordance with standard repair procedures. May also incorporate ECN's into completed boards.
- Prep and insert electronic components onto circuit boards, hand solder components onto circuit boards, touch up and rework circuit boards.
- Conduct engineering troubleshooting on assembled units to identify and resolve issues promptly
- Utilize testing tools such as ohmmeters to verify electrical connections and component functionality
- Other tasks assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must require a minimum of 1 - 3 years of related experience. Assembler levels 1 - 5 will vary based on years of experience and scope of responsibility.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to read blueprint.
- Must have experience in surface-mount technology (SMT) which is a method the electrical components are mounted directly onto the surface of a printed circuit board (PCB).
- Must be able to work overtime Monday through Friday and on weekends as needed/occasionally.
- Must possess good to excellent assembly blueprint reading experience/skills.
- Must be able to use hand tools (i.e. soldering irons, torque wrench, drills and inspection tools).
- Ability to properly read a variety of measuring devices including rulers, tape measures, and scales.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with others.
- Basic computer skills.
- Due to the nature of IntelliPower programs and products, applicants must have the legal right to work in the U.S. and additionally must be legally authorized to access export-controlled information and source code.
Desired Qualifications:
- IPC-610 or J-STD 001 certification.
- Efficient MS Word and Excel user

Salary Range:
The annual pay range for this position generally ranges between $20.00 - $25.00. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
