Position Summary
Nyati Services is seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator / Programmer to join our fabrication team in Corpus Christi, Texas. This position is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating a 242-ton, 14-foot Ermaksan Speed Bend Pro CNC Press Brake equipped with a Delem DA-66T controller to manufacture precision sheet metal components and custom electrical enclosures.
This is not an entry-level operator position. We are looking for a fabrication professional who can independently interpret fabrication drawings, determine bend sequences, select tooling, create or modify CNC programs, and consistently produce quality parts with minimal supervision.
Experience fabricating electrical enclosures, skids, modular buildings, or industrial equipment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate a 14-foot, 242-ton Ermaksan Speed Bend Pro CNC Press Brake.
- Create and modify programs using the Delem DA-66T CNC controller.
- Determine proper bend sequences to maximize efficiency and prevent part interference.
- Select punches and dies appropriate for material type, thickness, and geometry.
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and sheet metal drawings.
- Calculate bend allowances, bend deductions, and developed lengths as required.
- Manufacture precision sheet metal components for electrical enclosures, industrial skids, modular buildings, and custom fabricated assemblies.
- Perform first-article inspections and verify finished dimensions using precision measuring equipment.
- Troubleshoot programming, tooling, and forming issues to maintain production efficiency.
- Work closely with Engineering to improve manufacturability and recommend tooling or process improvements.
- Perform preventative maintenance and daily inspections of fabrication equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of CNC press brake setup, programming, and operation preferred.
- Experience with Delem DA-66T controllers or similar CNC press brake control systems strongly preferred.
- Ability to independently create and modify CNC programs.
- Strong understanding of bend sequencing, tooling selection, springback compensation, and sheet metal forming.
- Experience reading fabrication drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with manufacturing electrical enclosures or industrial equipment is a plus.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
- Welding experience (GMAW, FCAW, or GTAW) is beneficial but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Move larger sheets and fabricated components using overhead cranes, forklifts, or other material handling equipment.
- Stand, bend, kneel, and work in a fabrication environment for extended periods.
- Work safely around CNC machinery and heavy fabrication equipment.
