Full Job Description

We are seeking a talented, hands-on Chef de Cuisine to lead the culinary team at a high-volume, upscale casual seafood restaurant in Corpus Christi, TX. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate culinary leader who thrives in a chef-driven environment and is committed to delivering exceptional food quality, consistency, and guest experiences. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a passion for fresh seafood, scratch cooking, and developing high-performing kitchen teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop the kitchen team while ensuring consistent execution of fresh seafood and scratch-made menu items
Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, sanitation, and kitchen organization
Oversee daily kitchen operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and food cost controls
Partner with restaurant leadership to deliver an exceptional guest experience through operational excellence

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of culinary management experience as a Chef de Cuisine, Executive Sous Chef, or Executive Chef in a high-volume upscale casual or seafood concept
Strong background in seafood preparation, scratch kitchens, and maintaining exceptional culinary standards
Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop kitchen teams while managing labor and food costs
Comprehensive knowledge of food safety, sanitation, inventory management, and kitchen operations
