Full Job Description

Paralegal – In Office

Branscomb Law is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our Corpus Christi office. We are looking for someone with strong case management experience, solid communication skills, and the ability to stay organized in a busy legal environment.

This is a general paralegal position supporting attorneys across multiple practice areas. Experience in estate planning and probate is strongly preferred, but the position is not limited to those areas.

Branscomb Law is a full-service Texas law firm serving individuals, families, and businesses in matters involving business law, estate planning, probate, labor and employment, litigation, oil and gas, real estate, and tax law. We value professionalism, integrity, clear communication, and strong client service.

Responsibilities include:

Managing case files, deadlines, calendars, and case progression
Preparing, reviewing, and filing legal documents
Communicating with clients, attorneys, court staff, and third parties
Supporting attorneys with document preparation and case management
Tracking deadlines and ensuring tasks are completed timely
Maintaining organized files and accurate case information
Assisting with estate planning and probate matters when applicable
Handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion

Qualifications:

Paralegal experience preferred
Strong case management experience preferred
Estate planning and probate experience is a plus
Contested probate experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail and follow-through required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat required
Experience with Tabs3 and NetDocuments preferred
