Full Job Description

Job Overview

We currently are expanding to a second location in Ennis and looking for someone to come on board and help meet the needs of the community. This will likely mean nights and weekends (that's the majority of what clients are requesting!) as well as willingness to see some couples or adolescents. If interested, you could see clients at both locations as our original site in Midlothian has a plentiful referral stream and stays quite busy!

Duties

Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to accurately identify patient needs.
Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy.
Provide individual, family, or couples counseling using evidence-based practices tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
Implement crisis intervention strategies and manage emergency situations with professionalism and compassion, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
Document all clinical encounters in electronic health records (EHR/EMR) following HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards.

Qualifications

Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Valid licensure or certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent. We are only looking for someone fully licensed at this time.
Proven experience working with children, families, and couples.
Strong knowledge of clinical counseling techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused therapy, grief counseling, and behavior management strategies.
Experience with crisis management, inpatient/outpatient settings, telehealth platforms, and medical terminology related to mental health care.
Familiarity with insurance billing/CPT codes a plus.
Excellent communication skills for client engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration; ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
Knowledge of clinical research methods and data collection techniques to support evidence-based practice initiatives.
Ability to adhere to clinical ethical guidelines such as HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards; experience with medical records management is preferred.

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
