Payroll & Bookkeeping Specialist Position

Work Week: Monday - Thursday 9am - 4pm Fridays 9am - 12pm
OPPORTUNITY
This is an hourly compensated, full-time (31-35hrs/week) position focused on providing payroll & bookkeeping services to our clients, while working alongside multi-talented co-workers that will assist in the assembly and administrative tasks to enhance the efficiency of our services.

OBJECTIVE
As an addition to our Payroll & Bookkeeping department, this position involves in-person and virtual interactions with clients, while performing payroll service preparation and bookkeeping services to clients in a variety of demographics, stages of life, and situations.
The ideal candidate for this role would possess professional traits such as the ability to work independently, self-discipline while under critical deadlines, time management skills, and a pro- active approach to complete all tasks with diligence.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Experience:
- Obtain client information that is accurate and complete and advisory purposes and in accordance with due diligence and professional standards.
- Offer education to clients with concerns or questions regarding services and processes.
- Always providing clear and thorough communication with clients to ensure service expectations are consistent and met. Ensure follow-ups are completed in a timely manner.
- Address client concerns proactively and/or identify opportunities for discussion while working through their entire business portfolio. This may involve the collaboration with other professionals such as attorneys or financial advisors.
- Proper documentation of notes and other pertinent information collected during consultations with clients.
Client Relations:
- Importance of creating relationships with clientele for retention and future client base growth purposes, as well as ensuring all clients have a consistent and positive experience.
- Acting as the point of contact for clients while also collaborating with co-workers for overall client satisfaction to address any concerns/questions they may have.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience :
- Minimum three (3) plus years of payroll & bookkeeping working experience
- Minimum Associate’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting and/or Economics or equivalent experience is preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong demonstrated analytical skills and cognitive abilities.

- Proficient in QuickBooks (Online & Desktop)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
