Full Job Description

We are looking to hire an on-site motel manager team of two for a small independent motel. This position includes a free on-site apartment.

Responsibilities include:

Greet and check in guests
Answer phone calls, take reservations, and assist guests with questions
Oversee daily motel operations and make sure guests have a good experience
Inspect rooms, grounds, parking lot, and common areas for cleanliness and appearance
Help manage housekeeping and front desk staff
Train, schedule, and monitor staff performance
Handle guest concerns and resolve issues professionally
Track daily revenue, payments, deposits, and basic reports
Coordinate with ownership on rates, expenses, repairs, and operational needs
Perform light maintenance around the property as needed
Coordinate larger repairs with vendors or maintenance contractors
Help keep the property clean, safe, and well maintained

Requirements:

Customer service experience preferred
Hotel, motel, or property management experience is a plus
Basic computer and phone skills
Must be reliable, professional, and comfortable living on-site
Ability to handle guest issues calmly and respectfully
Light maintenance or handyman experience is a plus
