Job Description:

The Sales Manager plays a critical role in driving revenue growth by developing and optimizing both direct and indirect sales channels. This is a player-coach role responsible for managing a small internal sales team while building and scaling new channels such as door-to-door (D2D) and third-party partnerships.

This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, operational execution, and relationship management. The Sales Manager will design and implement systems, processes, and partnerships that expand Alyrica’s market reach and create sustainable, scalable growth.

Salary: 50k-$75k/year

Core Responsibilities:

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth objectives
Lead, coach, and develop internal sales teams, including inbound and door-to-door representatives
Build and scale a D2D sales channel, managing both internal teams and external vendor partners
Identify, evaluate, and develop new sales channels to expand market reach
Recruit, onboard, and manage third-party sales organizations and vendors
Establish systems, processes, and performance standards to support channel success
Foster strong, win-win relationships with external partners to drive mutual growth
Track, analyze, and optimize performance metrics (e.g., revenue, cost per acquisition, close rate, KPI adherence)
Partner with Marketing to develop campaigns, events, and promotions that generate leads and drive conversions
Collaborate with Marketing to optimize website performance and the online customer journey
Develop and deliver sales training programs, including onboarding, competitive positioning, and channel-specific strategies
Continuously evaluate and improve processes to increase efficiency and productivity
Represent Alyrica Networks with customers, partners, and the community in a professional manner
Demonstrate strong ownership, accountability, and effective time management
Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Sales

Preferred Qualifications:

3–5 years of experience in sales, sales management, or a related field
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Experience building or managing channel sales programs (preferred, especially D2D or partner sales)
Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to develop high-performing teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical, strategic planning, and decision-making capabilities
Experience with CRM systems (Zoho CRM or similar)
Highly adaptable, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
Strong focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience
