Job Title: Project Manager

Industry: Design and Development

Location: Irvine, CA

Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000 annual; Based on experience

Our portfolio includes complex projects for top brands in the automotive industry.

Position Overview: Aria Group is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee and drive multiple projects of varying complexities and resources. The role involves collaborating with executives, engineering and design teams, manufacturing teams, and customers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Lead multiple concurrent projects from quote handoff through final delivery, ensuring customer requirements, project objectives, schedules, and budgets are achieved.

· Serve as the primary customer contact, delivering professional communication and building lasting client relationships?

· Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed project schedules, milestones, critical paths, and delivery commitments.

· Monitor project progress and proactively communicate schedule changes, risks, roadblocks, and critical updates to customers and internal stakeholders.

· Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, design, manufacturing, purchasing, quality, and executive leadership to ensure successful project execution.

· Facilitate project kickoff meetings, internal and external project status meetings, and customer reviews.

· Review customer requirements, Statements of Work (SOW), purchase orders, specifications, and deliverables to ensure project scope is clearly defined and executed.

· Monitor project financial performance, including labor hours, material costs, vendor expenses, change orders, revenue tracking, and profit margins.

· Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize schedule delays, cost overruns, and quality concerns.

· Manage project Bills of Materials (BOMs), ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with engineering revisions and procurement activities.

· Coordinate sourcing and procurement activities, including supplier communication, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and material delivery tracking.

· Track engineering releases, drawing revisions, Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), and customer-requested changes throughout the project lifecycle.

· Evaluate scope changes and customer requests, identifying cost, schedule, and resource impacts while coordinating change order approvals.

· Ensure project documentation, reports, meeting notes, schedules, and customer records are maintained and organized in company systems.

· Monitor manufacturing progress, production schedules, and work order status to ensure projects remain on track for delivery.

· Coordinate inspection requirements, quality concerns, and corrective actions with Quality and Manufacturing teams.

· Generate regular project status reports, budget updates, and executive summaries for management review.

· Support quoting, cost estimating, and project planning activities during the pre-award and program launch phases.

· Drive accountability among project team members by tracking action items, deliverables, and deadlines.

· Ensure compliance with customer requirements, company procedures, quality standards, and project management best practices.

· Identify opportunities to improve project management processes, reporting methods, communication workflows, and operational efficiencies.

Qualifications:

· Minimum 3 to 5 years of direct project management experience.

· Experience managing prototype, custom manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or product development projects preferred.

· Understanding of engineering drawings, CAD models, manufacturing processes, and product development workflows.

· Experience with project scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or similar tools.

· Ability to interpret technical documentation, specifications, and customer requirements.

· Familiarity with BOM management, procurement processes, and supplier coordination.

· Strong ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

· Experience tracking project budgets, labor utilization, revenue, and profitability preferred.

· PMP certification or equivalent project management training is a plus.

· Experience working in an ISO-certified manufacturing environment is a plus.
