Residential Supervisor

(Psychiatric Medical Institute for Children)

Location: 520 N 7th St, Council Bluffs, IA 51503 (Children’s Square Campus)
Day Shift - Sundays and Mondays Off
Pay: $62,000+ (Depending on years of relevant leadership experience & education)

Child Saving Institute (CSI) is looking for someone who has a mind full of wonder and a heart-filled desire to make a difference! We’re on a mission to champion what’s best for each child and family.

As a PMIC Supervisor, you’ll be an essential part of our team. Your responsibilities would include overseeing daily treatment coordination, case management, and care services for youth ages 8–17 in a residential treatment setting. In short, our PMIC Supervisor ensures individualized treatment plans are implemented, while serving as a central contact for therapists, staff, guardians, and partnering agencies.

Has strong leadership and organizational skills
Communicates effectively with youth, families, and professionals
Provides support and direction to staff while ensuring quality treatment
Values teamwork and serves as a role model for growth and resilience

Qualifications

Do you think you’d be a good fit for this role? Ideally, you are:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Services and related experience, or equivalently extensive work experience
Knowledgeable in counseling/therapy models (CBT preferred) and youth/family systems
Strong in communication, problem-solving, and relationship building
Able to travel and work flexible hours as needed

Bonus Points

Supervisory or leadership experience in a treatment setting
Familiarity with DHHS, insurance coordination, or case management systems
Experience working with youth with emotional or behavioral needs
