JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Manufacturing Latter Process Utility Operator
Reports To: Manufacturing Latter Senior Supervisor
Department: Manufacturing
Position Status: Non-Exempt C/D Shifts
Essential Responsibility: • This position is responsible for operating machines that fabricate parts. This position also possesses knowledge of various manufacturing machines, process operations and product I.D. for CL/TL and AA/AL.
List of Key Tasks / Primary Responsibilities: • Reviews Specifications by reading process standards to determine machine adjustments and material requirements; by determining the accuracy of machine operations by measuring work piece dimensions; by observing machines and detecting work piece defects and machine malfunctions. Proper handling for Scrap/Rework products.
- Operates Machines by meeting or exceeding daily production targets; by activating the machine through buttons; by completing all necessary documents in a clear and timely manner; by reporting any problems with machines to Management in a timely manner; and by performing any other functions to tend to machines.
- Operates machine and covering breakout as assigned from Supervisor daily basis. Required knowledge of changeover process for multiple machines.
- Proper management for Startup and Complete for Lot management.
Education / Certifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Must have two years experience in a manufacturing and or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Manages Time and Resources by using tools provided by the Company in order to maximize productivity and to accomplish tasks on time.
- Keeps Management Informed by participating in meetings; and by reporting problems to Management verbally or in writing in order to avoid confusion and further problems.

- Upholds Standards of Quality, Cost, and Safety by following the Company's standards and guidelines for maintaining quality, cost, and safety; by taking initiative to make these points top priority at the Company; by immediately reporting any conditions that do not uphold the standards of quality, cost, and safety to the Supervisor or Management; by wearing proper PPE as established by the departmental mgt. and by making suggestions for necessary improvements to uphold these standards as necessary.

- Train and assist for new hiring person.
Physical Demands / Work Environment:
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk, in office or field duties;
- A full range of motion to see, hear, touch, and to observe documents at the office or materials on the field;
- Ordinary vision and hearing for communication and observation;
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Experience / Qualification:
Language Skills
- Ability to effectively respond to questions in English.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to apply concepts of basic mathematics, including minimum, maximum, average, and other principles.
Reasoning Skills
- Ability to apply knowledge and sense of understanding to carry-out detailed written or oral instructions.
Experience / Qualification:
Other Skills
- Must be tactful, mature, flexible and able to successfully respond to multiple work pressures.
- Able to understand & practice the basic manufacturing fundamentals of NAMI, including 3S check system, 5S, Control-By-Looking, poka-yoke, safety, Company Policy, and quality policy.
- Must be skilled with the knowledge of many different manufacturing machines, process operations, and product I.D.
- Must be able to identify possible safety problems and report accordingly.
- Experience preferred in the operation of at least one machine in the following Grades: Grade 4, or Grade 5 or equivalent manufacturing experience.
