Full Job Description

Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (4+ Years Prescribing Experience Required)– Aesthetic and Wellness Medicine

Applegate MedSpa is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) with 4+ Years Prescribing Experience Required to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has experience in aesthetic and wellness medicine, facial rejuvenation, body contouring, and wellness treatments, with a strong understanding of facial anatomy and a passion for delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

As our Nurse Practitioner, you will independently perform aesthetic treatments, develop customized treatment plans, prescribe medications when appropriate, and provide outstanding patient care in a welcoming, professional environment.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive aesthetic consultations and develop individualized treatment plans.
Perform facial and body aesthetic treatments, including injectables and non-invasive procedures.
Administer GLP-1 weight management therapies and monitor patient progress.
Perform laser hair removal and laser hair restoration treatments.
Utilize advanced aesthetic technologies, including BTL Aesthetics equipment, to perform body sculpting, skin tightening, muscle toning, and other non-invasive treatments.
Prescribe medications and treatment-related prescriptions as clinically appropriate.
Educate patients on procedures, expected outcomes, aftercare, and follow-up care.
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
Take and maintain before-and-after photographs.
Ensure treatment rooms and equipment are cleaned, calibrated, and maintained according to safety standards.
Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and Kentucky Board of Nursing regulations.
Monitor and maintain medical supply inventory.
Deliver an exceptional patient experience while building long-term patient relationships.

Qualifications

Current Kentucky Nurse Practitioner license with prescriptive authority.
Must have a minimum of four years of prescribing experience in Kentucky and be eligible to practice without a collaborating physician/medical director.
Active DEA registration (or ability to obtain one).
Experience in aesthetic medicine is strongly preferred.
Experience with BTL Aesthetics equipment is a plus.
Experience with GLP-1 therapy, laser hair removal, and laser hair restoration is a plus.
Knowledge of facial anatomy and cosmetic procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with the Applegate MedSpa team.
