Full Job Description

Right at Home – a nonmedical homecare company – is conducting a selective search for a Clinical Liaison to serrvice the Cincinnati – Dayton corridor area. Right at Home provides tailored services including companion care, personal care, and specialty care (Parkinson’s, Stroke, CHF, etc) for the elderly and disabled.

Our candidate must be highly organized, possess high energy, be well-spoken, be goal-oriented and be a likable team player.

Candidates must have prior clinical training and sales/marketing experience. New business development will entail calling on nurses, social workers, and other professionals that work in hospitals, assisted living facilities, etc.

Also required of the Clinical Liaison position is the ability to meet with the client/patient to assess, communicate and educate them and their families as to the prescribed care plans that will ensure quality and satisfaction.

Job Duties of Clinical Liaison:

Develop new referral sources in the community and Strengthen relationships with existing referral sources
Pre-plan weekly marketing activities
Maintain written documentation relating to all sales activity
Coordinate sales activity with all office staff to assure appropriate follow-up
Public speaking; event coordination
Create new business within assigned area according to goals
Initial Client Assessment: Conduct initial assessments of clients to determine their home care needs, making necessary revisions based on physician orders as the client's status and needs change.
Build Personal Rapport: Establish a personal rapport and build trust with referral sources, clients, their family members, and caregivers.
Community Representation: Promote the growth of Right at Home by professionally representing the organization, its mission, and its role in the community.
Effective Communication: Communicate and interact effectively with clients, caregivers, and families in a supportive manner.
Client Education: Provide education to clients and family members on available resources, medication management, self-care techniques, and medical conditions as per physician orders.
Client-Centered Approach: Understand and attempt to meet the needs, wants, and expectations of clients.
Support Team: Listen and respond to calls for help from other direct care staff when necessary.

Requirements of Clinical Liaison - Home Care:

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), or equivalent healthcare experience required.
Minimum of 5 years of expertise in home care, skilled nursing, assisted living, rehabilitation, or a combination of healthcare settings. Strong preference given to the candidate possessing sales/marketing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and lasting relationships.
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
Comfortable working independently while managing multiple priorities.
Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
CPR Certification: Possess and maintain current CPR certification.
Service and Growth Orientation: Be service-oriented and growth-focused, contributing to the organization's mission.
Driver's License and Transportation: Community Liaison - Home Care must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the Greater Cincinnati area and Dayton.
