SUMMARY
ADD Systems is a recognized leader in petroleum distribution software, delivering innovative solutions that help our customers operate more efficiently and profitably. We are seeking a driven, relationship‑focused Account Manager who is passionate about helping clients improve their business through technology.
In this role, you will identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities while also nurturing and expanding relationships within an assigned territory. Approximately 70% of your focus will be on generating net‑new business, with 30% dedicated to managing and growing existing accounts.
You will represent ADD Systems’ suite of SaaS and on‑premise solutions—including ADD eStore, ADD Energy E360, and ADD AI (Atlas Intelligence)—and leverage our proven sales model to maximize revenue growth and market share.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Present and sell ADD Systems products and services to prospective and existing clients
- Develop targeted action plans and schedules to identify prospects and forecast activity
- Follow up on leads and referrals generated through field activity and internal teams
- Identify, qualify, and engage sales prospects across assigned accounts
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations
- Build and maintain strong, long‑term client relationships
- Identify and resolve client concerns to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records in CRM tools, including weekly plans and territory analyses
- Communicate market feedback, product opportunities, and customer insights to internal teams
- Contribute to team goals and support cross‑functional initiatives
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in marketing events, trade shows, seminars, and industry conferences
- Collaborate with the inside sales team to target and develop new opportunities
KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Strong ability to persuade, influence, and build trust with decision‑makers
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a territory
- Skilled in developing and delivering professional presentations
- Strong written communication skills, including proposal creation and editing
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication abilities
- Knowledge of sales promotion techniques; typically acquired through a Bachelor’s degree plus 5–10 years of sales or marketing experience
- Experience in software or petroleum distribution industries preferred
- Proven track record in meeting sales goals, closing deals, territory management, prospecting, negotiation, and product knowledge
- Professional appearance and ability to represent the company positively
- Willingness to travel up to 60%, including occasional overnight trips
- Ability to work a flexible schedule when needed
WORKING CONDITIONS
- This is a full-time position. Our company hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM Eastern Time Zone.
- Selected candidate may work out of any of our three offices, or their home-office. Travel to client sites is required and may include overnight and occasional weekend/evening commitments. Travel destinations include the USA and Canada.
- Base salary $50,000-$70,000 USD plus uncapped commissions. Typical OTE ranges from $120,000 to $350,000+ depending on performance.
