Job Summary: Participates in the development and fulfillment of contract requirements in the purchase or sale/delivery of equipment, materials, products or services | Evaluates contract compliance and advises others on contractual rights and obligations | Requests or approves amendments to contract terms or contract extensions | Prepares bids or requests for proposals (RFPs), including specifications and requirements; negotiates contract terms and participates in the determination of acceptable bids Impact of the Role:

General Profile

Acquires basic skills to perform routine tasks
Work is prescribed and completed with little autonomy
Works with either close supervision or under clearly defined procedures
Entry level to a business support career progression
Performs manual tasks according to established procedures

Essential Functions:

Performs administrative functions for the contracts administration function.
Prepares contracts and general correspondence.
Conducts fact-finding and data collection to prepare contracts.
Maintains and organizes contract document files or database in required format.
Coordinates efficient phone, e-mail, and written communications.
- - Required education and experience: High School Diploma/GED required and 0-3 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
  - Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- - Preferred education and experience: Associate's Degree
  - Knowledge, skills & abilities: Oral and written communication skills. Ability to build collaborative relationships. Detail oriented. Ability to meet deadlines. Project management skills.
- - Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
  - Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
