Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team that must be willing to travel out of town if needed! . In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in various welding techniques and fabrication processes will contribute to delivering high-quality products on time. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and craftsmanship in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence. Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications
Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and <LOCATION> welding techniques to join metals accurately
Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape and assemble metal components
Measure materials with calipers, micrometers, and basic math skills to ensure precise cuts and fits
Operate rigging equipment and forklifts safely for material handling and assembly tasks
Fabricate ductwork, pipe threading, sheet metal parts, and structural elements following ASME codes & standards
Read schematics and blueprints to guide fabrication processes and ensure compliance with project specifications
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and using personal protective equipment at all times

Skills

Extensive construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety practices
Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, plasma cutting, soldering, and <LOCATION> welding techniques
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, press brake machines, and machining equipment
Mechanical knowledge of fabrication processes including pipe threading, assembly, rigging, and machining operations
Familiarity with ductwork installation, sheet metal fabrication, and manufacturing standards such as ASME codes & standards
Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment safely
Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks
