Metals Lab Utility Associate - Part-Time

Location: Fort Worth, TX 76126

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Metals Lab Utility Associate to join our team on a part-time basis. This role supports the daily operations of our metals testing laboratory located in Fort Worth, TX. The ideal candidate will have mechanical ability, a willingness to perform a variety of tasks, and a strong attention to detail in an environmentally controlled lab setting.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the setup, maintenance, and cleanup of the metals testing lab.
Support lab technicians by preparing materials and equipment for testing procedures.
Perform routine cleaning and organization of the lab to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Handle and transport metal samples and testing materials as needed.
Operate basic mechanical tools and equipment to assist with lab tasks.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain compliance with environmental controls within the lab.
Be willing to get hands-on and occasionally work in conditions that may involve dirt or grease.

Qualifications & Skills

Part-time availability with flexible scheduling.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with various tools and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining lab standards.
Ability to perform a variety of tasks in a fast-paced, environmentally controlled lab setting.
