Full Job Description

Crestview Aerospace is a manufacturing organization working closely with large aircraft and weapon systems OEMs, such as Boeing Defense, Bell, RTX/Collins Aerospace, Northrop Grumman and several others to deliver complex design-to-build and build-to print assemblies. Crestview Aerospace provides these assemblies in support of in-service platforms, such as: H-47, V-22, F-35, F-15, F-16, F-18, KC-135, E-2, and weapon systems such as Harpoon and SLAM-ER. Crestview Aerospace is comprised of two (2) manufacturing sites, with operations in St. Louis, Missouri and Crestview, FL, and employs approximately 300 professionals.

Job Summary

Coordinates, communicates and expedites the flow of work and materials within or between departments and customers. Duties include reviewing production, work, and shipments schedules; conferring with department leads, supervisors, and managers to determine progress of work and completion dates; compiling reports on progress or work, inventory levels, costs, and productions problems.

Essential Job Functions

Examine contracts, materials, and products, and monitor work processes, in order to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.
Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and material priorities.
Confer with department supervisors and other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed changes.
Communicate schedule revisions when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, sales, production, and engineering.
Confer with establishment personnel, vendors, and customers to coordinate production and shipping activities, and to resolve complaints or eliminate delays.
Develop recovery plans to include required amounts of labor and materials, manufacturing costs, and wages. (using excel) Compile information, such as production rates and progress, materials inventories, materials used, and customer information, to complete weekly/monthly customer and internal reports.
Communicate with customers daily to provide status and technical information
Support in customer program reviews as necessary

Professional Requirements, Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and years of experience.
Must be able to work any shift, overtime, weekends and flexible hours as required.
Must adhere to Company policies/procedures and management instruction.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and Company Proprietary data.
Some travel may be required

Work Environment:

Primarily works in a manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery and production equipment.
Requires standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of materials.
May involve occasional travel to suppliers or other company locations.

Physical Requirements:

Primarily manufacturing/assembly environment. Must be able to work in the following environmental conditions: noise, vibration, proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current. Must be able to bend and reach. Must have close visual acuity such as viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines, and/or assembly or fabrication parts at close distance to the eyes. Must be able to communicate effectively. Must be able to maneuver up to 20 pounds. Will be performing substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
