Front Desk / Scheduling Coordinator – Pediatric Dentistry

Niceville, FL | $18.00–$22.00 per hour | Full-Time | No Weekends

Experienced Dental Front Office Professional Wanted

Panhandle Pediatric Dentistry is seeking an experienced Front Desk / Scheduling Coordinator to join our growing Niceville team.

This is not an entry-level receptionist position. We are looking for someone with experience working in a dental office who understands scheduling, patient communication, insurance processes, and maintaining an efficient front office.

Responsibilities

Welcome patients and families with professionalism and warmth
Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
Maintain provider schedules and maximize schedule efficiency
Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
Collect patient payments and explain balances
Process patient check-in and check-out
Communicate with patients regarding treatment and scheduling
Work closely with doctors, assistants, and the clinical team
Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality

QualificationsRequired

At least one year of front office experience in a dental, orthodontic, pediatric dental, oral surgery, or other healthcare practice
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Professional appearance and demeanor
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Strongly Preferred

Dental front office experience
Pediatric dental experience
Insurance verification experience
Scheduling multiple providers
Patterson Fuse or Dentrix Ascend experience

Schedule

Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM–2:00 PM
Approximately 32–36 hours per week
No evenings
No weekends

Additional requirements:

First working day of each month begins at 7:00 AM
IV Sedation days (1–2 times per month) begin between 5:00–5:30 AM
