Full Job Description

The Texas Family Doctor - Crockett Office is currently seeking a new staff member to serve in the role of Laboratory Coordinator, phlebotomist, and MA/Nurse. Versatility and broad outpatient experience is favored. Applicants must, ABOVE ALL, be a team player and have a passion for caring and helping others.

The most qualified applicant/s will be detail-oriented, computer-savvy, comfortable with multi-tasking, an excellent communicator, work with a smile, be patient with patients, creative in problem solving, and willing to adapt to innovative ways of providing excellent care to patients of all ages.

Primary job responsibilities will involve daily use of phlebotomy skills, drawing blood and processing specimens for submission to remote laboratory. Point of care testing and CLIA-Waived procedures will also be a primary job function. This position will also include other ancillary testing and extensive patient interaction. Skill or experience in testing such as EKG, PFTs, and other office procedures is preferred. Experience with vitals and rooming patients is also valued. Candidates may be certified or have experience as a Medical Assistant or Nurse. Experience in clinic setting is clearly preferred; but applicants with skills AND willingness to learn and adapt to a new setting are also welcome.

Candidates MUST be reliable, trustworthy, professional and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Salary and benefits are negotiable based on qualifications and experience.

This position will be for traditional office hours Monday through Friday, sometimes with half-days on Friday. No weekends scheduled. Most major holidays will be off. PTO and some benefits are available.
