Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Hotel Night Auditor, working overnight hours from 11pm to 7am. In this vital role, you will ensure the smooth operation of the front desk during nighttime hours, provide exceptional guest services, and maintain accurate financial records. Your energetic and detail-oriented approach will help create a welcoming environment for guests arriving or departing during the night, while also safeguarding hotel operations through vigilant monitoring and efficient problem-solving. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be the backbone of our hotel’s overnight team, ensuring guest satisfaction and operational excellence around the clock.

Duties

Greet and assist guests arriving or departing during overnight hours with professionalism and warmth.
Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly, demonstrating excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette.
Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing, reservations, and account balances.
Monitor security cameras, conduct safety inspections, and enforce hotel emergency procedures to maintain a safe environment.
Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit documentation to ensure seamless communication with daytime staff.
Oversee multi-line phone systems and coordinate with other departments to address guest needs effectively.

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations with a focus on night audit functions.
Strong knowledge of hospitality reservation systems (e.g., OPERA), property management systems (PMS), and hotel management software.
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues efficiently through problem-solving and client communication.
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively.
Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, guest relations, and resort experience is a plus.
Excellent phone communication skills, including multi-line phone system operation and phone etiquette.
Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail.
