Job Brief We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our kitchen team. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will help prepare fresh and unique dishes according to our curated menu. This role involves following instructions to ensure food is prepared and presented beautifully, contributing to a delightful customer experience.

No prior kitchen experience is required as we provide on-the-job training and onboarding. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, capable of multitasking, and eager to contribute to our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

Set Up: Prepare workstations with necessary ingredients and equipment.
Food Preparation: Assist with cleaning, washing, and preparing ingredients, including chopping, peeling, and cutting.
Kitchen Assistance: Support other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
Ingredient Distribution: Organize and distribute ingredients as needed.
Expediting: Monitor food as it cooks and ensure timely plating.
Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized kitchen environment.
Presentation: Dress and present dishes to meet quality standards.
Storage: Properly store food and other items, checking quality and managing stock.
Physical Demands: Be prepared for a physically demanding role, including standing, moving, and lifting heavy objects.
Dishwashing: Wash dishes and clean kitchen equipment.
Time Management: Read and understand tickets, ensuring food items are cooked and served in a timely manner.

Requirements

No prior kitchen experience required; training will be provided.
Strong work ethic with a passion for food quality and presentation.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills and familiarity with general service industry processes.
Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
Basic understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques is a plus.
