Compensation:
$42,000 - $45,000 salary plus benefits - DOE
Responsibilities:-
Obtain, review, and clarify purchase agreements, contracts, title commitments, and lender instructions to ensure successful closing
- Collaborate with the title examiner to issue the title policy
- Assure all escrow transactions and escrow accounts are handled in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations
- Prepare and send out closing packages to buyers, sellers, brokers, attorneys, and lenders
- Coordinate and interact professionally with industry contacts and influencers including loan officers, underwriters, builders, brokers and REALTORS.
Qualifications:-
High school diploma required — work experience or college degree preferred
- Firm understanding of real estate law, title and insurance, company policies and procedures, and regulatory guidelines
- 3+ years of real estate closing escrow transactions experience with residential sales, REO, refinance, short sale escrow, or commercial
- Experienced with software using escrow / title functions
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Possess a strong understanding of title commitments, mortgage loans, title insurance, and real estate contracts
