Job Description

Perform a variety of clerical tasks, including scanning; filing, and reviewing records.

Duties

Copy, file, and update paper and electronic documents
Collect information and perform data entry
Operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, and personal computers.
disseminate or explain information, take orders, and address complaints
Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems, either manually or using a computer.
Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions, and other activities.

Skill, knowledge, and Abilities

Clerical — Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.

Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. These include customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

Education:

A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job and work in a fast-paced environment, including walking stairs, climbing ladders, and lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects.

Work Environment: May be required to work up to 29 hours during the workweek, flexible schedule.
