We are seeking a Lead Therapist to add to our dynamic team who can provide clinical support to our clients at our campus in Warrior, AL. Our campus provides a supportive, empathetic, and structured environment where individuals can safely address the root causes of their addiction and rediscover their true selves.
Responsibilities

Assist in providing oversight of the day-to-day operations of the facility's clinical services

Proactively identify ways to improve processes and elevate team excellence facility-wide

Perform Performance Improvement Activities

Perform Counselor II and/or Clinical Coordinator"s duties, when necessary

Conduct documented staff meetings and clinical supervision
-
Provide training and orientation to new counselors
-
Model interdisciplinary teamwork and guide the team in its practice

Integrate the philosophies and principles of treatment both the program and the process of supervision

Complete annual performance reviews and competency ratings, which address clinical strengths, opportunities for improvement, and performance goals in a timely manner

Supervise and Direct Counselor Assistants and PSAs
Minimum Qualifications
-
Master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences
-
LCSW or LPC licensure
-
Minimum of two years experience in addictions treatment

Minimum of one year in the field in a supervisor position

Previous training and/or experience to demonstrate competency with a special population (e.g., Adult or Emerging Adult or Adolescent)

Demonstrate excellent communication (written and verbal) skills required

Comfortable working with the public

If recovering, three years of continuous verifiable sobriety
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience working with group therapy and family therapy modalities
-
Specialized training or certification in anger management or life transitions counseling
-
Familiarity with evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Experience in a healthcare or community mental health setting

Bilingual abilities or experience working with culturally diverse populations
