Job Description Summary:

The Internal Audit Senior Manager will serve as the founding leader of this team, building an independent and objective assurance capability that strengthens internal controls, ensures regulatory compliance, and drives operational efficiency across the Group (HQ in U.S. as well as Overseas Subsidiaries). This role is a strategic partner to senior leadership — proactively identifying and managing risk, safeguarding the Group's tangible and intangible value, and supporting sustainable long-term growth.

Job Description:

Internal Audit Planning & Execution

Develop and execute a comprehensive risk-based annual internal audit plan, incorporating financial, operational, regulatory, and IT risk dimensions across domestic and international subsidiaries.
Oversee all phases of the audit lifecycle — planning, fieldwork, and reporting — ensuring audits are conducted with objectivity, rigor, and efficiency.
Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls, risk management frameworks, and corporate governance practices.
Conduct fraud audits and proactively identify indicators of irregularity or non-compliance (Fraud Audit).
Lead special investigations, ad-hoc reviews, and risk- or hotline-based audits as required.
Coordinate with internal cross-functional task force teams and external specialists as needed for complex or specialized audit matters.

Risk Management & Internal Controls

Identify, assess, and prioritize organizational risk factors across entities — including financial, operational, regulatory, and IT risks — and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
Evaluate the adequacy of internal control systems and provide actionable recommendations for improvement to reinforce check-and-balance mechanisms.
Establish and maintain the Group's internal audit policies, authority matrix, and audit charter, clearly defining the scope, authority, and responsibilities of the audit function.
Administer and oversee the Group's Whistleblower / Hotline system, ensuring strict confidentiality and robust protections for reporters.

Compliance & Regulatory Oversight

Verify compliance with applicable laws and regulations across all jurisdictions in which the Group operates, as well as adherence to Group SOPs and internal policies.
Monitor overseas subsidiaries' compliance with Group governance standards, and establish or refine compliance frameworks where gaps exist.
Ensure prompt remediation of identified violations to minimize legal and regulatory risk exposure.

Reporting & Communication

Prepare comprehensive, well-structured audit reports that clearly articulate findings, root causes, risk implications, and recommended corrective actions.
Present audit results and improvement recommendations to the CEO, CFO/Controller, and, where applicable, the HR Committee or equivalent governance body.
Maintain ongoing communication with auditee organizations and senior management to foster a collaborative and transparent audit environment.
Partner closely with Legal, HR, Finance (FP&A), and other relevant functions to ensure coordinated follow-through on audit findings.

Follow-Up & Continuous Improvement

Track and verify the timely implementation of corrective action plans across all audited entities; escalate unresolved items to senior management.
Conduct follow-up audits to confirm that identified issues have been effectively remediated and controls have been strengthened.
Leverage audit findings to drive systemic improvements in operational processes, controls, and ethical culture across the Group.
Share lessons learned from audit findings with relevant entities to proactively prevent recurrence of similar issues across the Group.

Operational Excellence & Process Optimization

Assess the efficiency and effectiveness of operational processes (production, sales, accounting, IT, etc.) and identify opportunities for improvement in collaboration with business units.
Support the Finance Unit's oversight role for overseas subsidiaries, including involvement in fixed asset acquisitions/disposals, subsidiary establishment or dissolution, and finance/accounting leader transition reviews.
Contribute to management decision-making by providing objective, evidence-based insights and analyses that support strategic and operational planning.Audit Planning and Execution

Develop and execute a comprehensive annual audit plan based on risk assessment.
Oversee the planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases of all internal audits.
Evaluate the effectiveness of the company's internal controls, risk management processes, and corporate governance.
Lead special projects, investigations, and other ad-hoc reviews as needed.

Reporting and Communication

Prepare detailed and accurate audit reports summarizing findings, recommendations, and action plans.
Present audit results to senior management.
Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations to ensure issues are resolved.

Experience Range IV: 8 - 13 years of relevant experience or industry exposure in a related field

The anticipated compensation range is

91,000.00 - 172,000.00 USD Annual

Actual compensation will be determined based on various factors including qualifications, education, experience, and location. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
