BCBA CONSULTANT — ABA SERVICES LAUNCH

Location: Remote Position ( Based in Richmond, Virginia )

Pay Rate: $40.00-$45.00 per hour/ Flat Fee for Consultation and Services Launch
$40-$45.00 Hourly Part Time 15-20 Hours Weekly Upon Initial Job Offer

$80,000-$90,000 Salary Range Upon Full Time Offer

Position Type: Remote Part-Time Consultant with potential to transition into a Full-Time, Salaried Position with Benefits as the ABA program grows.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced, motivated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to contract with our company, and serve as a consultant while we launch and develop ABA services. This is an opportunity to help build a high-quality, ethical, and client-centered ABA program from the ground up.

The BCBA Consultant will work with organizational leadership to establish clinical systems, workflows, policies, documentation standards, and staff-training processes. As services and the client base grow, this position may transition into a full-time BCBA role with salary and benefits.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide clinical consultation to support the launch and development of ABA services.
Help develop intake, assessment, treatment-planning, supervision, and discharge processes.
Advise leadership on ethical standards, clinical best practices, quality assurance, and program readiness.
Help identify staffing, supervision, training, and operational needs for a growing ABA program.
Assist with onboarding, training, and supporting future RBTs, behavior technicians, and clinical team members.
Collaborate with leadership on program development, service quality, compliance, and long-term growth.

QUALIFICATIONS

Current BCBA certification in good standing.
Current Virginia Behavior Analyst license, or eligibility to obtain and maintain licensure, as required for practice. Virginia licenses behavior analysts through the Virginia Board of Medicine.
Experience providing ABA services to children, adolescents, and/or adults with autism and other developmental disabilities.
Experience supervising RBTs, behavior technicians, or other clinical staff.
Strong knowledge of ABA principles, ethical standards, and professional requirements.
Strong written communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Experience launching, developing, managing, or improving an ABA program is strongly preferred.
Ability to work independently while maintaining effective collaboration with leadership and team members.

COMPENSATION AND GROWTH OPPORTUNITY

Starting compensation is $50.00 per hour.
This is a flexible, part-time consulting position based on program-launch needs.
Hours may increase as ABA services begin and the program expands.
The successful candidate may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time BCBA position with a competitive salary and benefits package, based on organizational needs, performance, and program growth.
