Full Job Description

Calling all Human Service Superheroes! Are you ready to start a rewarding career while receiving QMHP-T supervision? At Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH), our mission is rooted in empowering individuals and strengthening communities. We are seeking a passionate Behavior Technician II to work with individuals living with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and mental health challenges residing in our Youth Crisis Therapeutic Home (YCTH) located in Culpeper, VA.

Enjoy a $2,000 sign-on and retention bonus for full-time new hires!

Full- Time Schedule (one opening per shift):

1.) Sunday/Monday 7am-7pm, Tuesday/Wednesday 7am-3pm

2.) Wednesday/Thursday 3pm-11pm, Friday/Saturday 7pm-7am

3.) Sunday/Monday 7pm-7am, Tuesday/Thursday 11pm-7am

Your Role in Our Mission

As a Behavior Technician II (BT), your days will be spent equipping individuals with the tools, coping skills and support to prevent hospitalization and crisis. Responsibilities include facilitating daily programs and rehabilitative activities, providing therapeutic interventions, and assisting with personal care. As a member of the REACH team, you will work closely with participants' primary care providers, community crisis services, and families to ensure comprehensive support for those referred to the home.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive Rate: $21 - $24 / hr based on experience
Paid training: CPR / first-aid, Mindset, Medication Administration, Infectious Disease, Seizure Management, and QMHP-T supervision!
Receive a sign-on and retention bonus paid at 3, 6, and 12 months (full-time new hires only). Plus, additional yearly stipends provided as grant funding permits!!

What We’re Looking For

Experience working with IDD/Behavioral Health (BH) disorders required
Bachelor’s degree in Human Service field of study, or QMHP (trainee), or
- The ability to register as a Qualified Mental Health Professional Trainee and be approved within 30 days of hire
Maintain valid state appropriate driver’s license and auto insurance for personal and agency vehicles utilized for work
