As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Customer Supply Chain Manager or Senior Customer Supply Chain Coordinator to own the operational execution of our wholesale business – from product commercialization through purchase order fulfillment and delivery. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, enjoys solving complex operational challenges, and takes pride in ensuring every customer order is executed accurately, compliantly, and on time.
Because we are an entrepreneurial company, this position works closely with nearly every department, including Product Development, Business (Sales), Marketing, Warehouse/Operations, Finance, and Executive Leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Supply Chain Management
- Own the end-to-end operational execution of wholesale customer orders from purchase order receipt through final delivery.
- Review, acknowledge, process, and monitor purchase orders to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
- Coordinate production schedules, inventory availability, freight, warehousing, and delivery timelines with internal teams and external partners.
- Proactively identify and resolve supply chain issues before they impact customers.
- Serve as the operational point of contact for assigned retail and wholesale customers.
Retailer Compliance & Logistics
- Ensure all shipments comply with retailer routing guides, vendor manuals, compliance requirements, labeling standards, pallet configurations, appointment scheduling, OTIF requirements, ASN requirements, and other customer-specific shipping guidelines.
- Coordinate shipments to retailer warehouses and distribution centers while maintaining compliance with customer expectations.
- Monitor retailer scorecards and chargebacks, proactively identifying opportunities to improve operational performance.
- Maintain accurate retailer documentation and operational requirements across all customer accounts.
EDI & Customer Systems
- Manage daily order processing and communications through multiple EDI platforms and retailer portals.
- Work within our internal EDI systems while navigating the various EDI platforms utilized by national retail partners.
- Troubleshoot EDI-related issues to ensure purchase orders, acknowledgments, ASNs, invoices, and shipping documents are transmitted accurately and on time.
- Coordinate with customers, EDI providers, and internal teams to resolve system-related issues efficiently.
Inventory Planning & Forecasting
- Own finished goods inventory management across all SKUs.
- Develop inventory forecasts based on customer demand, sales trends, promotional calendars, production lead times, and retailer forecasts.
- Partner with management to ensure adequate inventory while minimizing excess stock and obsolete inventory.
- Identify inventory risks and recommend proactive solutions.
Product Commercialization
- Partner with Product Development to commercialize new products and customer-exclusive SKUs.
- Coordinate timelines across Product Development, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Manufacturing to ensure successful product launches.
- Prepare and maintain retailer-facing documentation, including line sheets, new item forms, pricing, UPC information, case packs, pallet configurations, product specifications, and vendor setup documentation.
- Ensure all customer requirements are completed accurately prior to product launch.
Customer Operations
- Maintain accurate customer records, vendor portals, pricing files, and operational documentation.
- Prepare inventory reports, sales reports, shipment updates, retailer documentation, and other operational materials.
- Coordinate sample shipments and retailer requests.
- Ensure customer inquiries are responded to promptly and professionally.
Cross-Functional Project Management
- Maintain a personal project management system (Asana or similar) to organize daily priorities, deadlines, and long-term initiatives.
- Coordinate projects across Product Development, Sales, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Executive Leadership.
- Document meeting notes, action items, and project timelines while ensuring accountability across departments.
- Support executive leadership with time-sensitive operational initiatives.
Process Improvement
- Develop and improve SOPs and scalable operational processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, forecasting, retailer compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Continuously recommend improvements that enhance customer experience and reduce operational risk.

Qualifications
- 4 or more years of experience in customer supply chain, supply chain management, customer operations, sales operations, logistics, or account operations within a CPG company.
- Experience supporting national retailers and distributors such as Costco, Target, CVS, Walmart, Ulta Beauty, Walgreens, Kroger, TJX, Acosta, or similar accounts.
- Strong knowledge of retailer routing guides, vendor manuals, OTIF requirements, ASN processing, shipping compliance, retailer scorecards, and chargeback prevention.
- Experience working with EDI systems and retailer portals, including managing purchase orders, acknowledgments, ASNs, invoices, and related documentation across multiple EDI platforms.
- Experience with inventory planning, demand forecasting, and production planning.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar is preferred.
- Experience with project management software such as Asana, Monday.com, or ClickUp is preferred.
- Reliable transportation to and from our headquarters.
