Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and comfort in residential settings. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a pristine environment by performing a variety of cleaning tasks, managing laundry, and providing exceptional customer service to clients. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will contribute to creating a welcoming and hygienic space for residents and visitors alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your cleaning expertise while delivering outstanding service in a dynamic environment.

Duties

Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and outdoor work as needed
Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and cleaning equipment to ensure hygiene standards are met
Manage laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
Handle manual lifting of heavy items such as furniture or appliances safely and according to established safety protocols
Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces, floors, and fixtures through regular sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing
Use specialized cleaning tools for floor cleaning and surface sanitation to uphold high standards of cleanliness
Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and provide excellent customer service while respecting their privacy and preferences

Qualifications

Proven experience in residential cleaning or custodial roles with knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment
Strong skills in cleaning surfaces, dusting, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation practices
Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform manual handling tasks efficiently
Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper usage techniques
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively within scheduled timeframes
Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior areas or outdoor spaces
Exceptional client communication skills with a friendly attitude toward residents or homeowners
Demonstrated reliability with a keen eye for detail in residential housekeeping tasks
