Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Assisted Stretch Practitioner to join our dynamic health and fitness team. In this role, you will deliver personalized assisted stretching sessions designed to improve flexibility, reduce muscle tension, and enhance overall well-being for clients of all fitness levels. Your expertise will help clients achieve their mobility goals while fostering a positive, motivating environment that encourages ongoing engagement and health improvement. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for fitness, anatomy, and client service in a vibrant gym or health club setting.

Duties

Conduct one-on-one assisted stretching sessions tailored to each client’s needs, focusing on flexibility, muscle relaxation, and injury prevention
Assess clients’ physiology, body mechanics, and movement patterns to develop effective stretch programs
Educate clients on proper stretching techniques, body positioning, and safety precautions during sessions
Design customized stretch programs that align with clients’ fitness goals and physical conditions
Maintain detailed records of client progress, session plans, and any relevant health considerations
Promote the benefits of assisted stretching as part of a comprehensive fitness or rehabilitation plan
Support the sales team by introducing clients to additional services such as personal training or group fitness classes

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics necessary for safe and effective stretching techniques
Experience in program design tailored to individual needs within a gym or health club environment
Background in sports coaching or teaching physical education is highly desirable
Proven ability to communicate clearly and motivate clients of diverse backgrounds
Familiarity with personal training, group fitness instruction, or health club operations preferred
Excellent sales skills with the ability to promote services confidently and professionally
Certification in fitness-related fields
