About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manufacturing Accountant to join our growing supercharger manufacturing company. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and has strong experience with QuickBooks Desktop Manufacturing & Wholesale Edition. The Manufacturing Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close, helping manage inventory accounting, and ensuring day-to-day accounting operations run smoothly. This role works closely with management and the Fractional CFO to provide timely financial information that supports business decisions. Responsibilities ● Manage day-to-day bookkeeping functions using QuickBooks Desktop Manufacturing & Wholesale Edition ● Record and reconcile bank, credit card, and loan transactions ● Process accounts payable and vendor payments ● Generate customer invoices and manage accounts receivable collections ● Perform monthly bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations ● Provide and execute on best practices in maintaining accurate inventory and manufacturing-related accounting records ● Assist with inventory adjustments and cost of goods sold reconciliations ● Support purchase order and sales order accounting processes ● Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end close ● Reconcile sales tax payable and assist with sales tax filings ● Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation records ● Assist with payroll support and payroll reconciliations ● Prepare financial reports for management and the Fractional CFO ● Organize accounting records and maintain proper documentation for audits and tax preparation ● Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy Qualifications Required ● 3–5 years of experience ● Experience working in a manufacturing company ● Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop Manufacturing & Wholesale Edition ● Solid understanding of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory Accounting, Cost of Goods Sold, Bank Reconciliations, and Journal Entries ● Experience using Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and pivot tables ● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail ● Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and work independently ● Strong written and verbal communication skills ● Willing to submit background check ● Will need 2-3 references Preferred ● Experience with inventory management and manufacturing workflows ● Familiarity with sales orders, purchase orders, and production processes ● Experience supporting month-end close ● Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Work Environment ● Hybrid position based in Anaheim, California ● 1–2 days per week in the office, remaining days remote ● Personal computer with the ability to log in remotely ● Standard business hours with occasional flexibility during month-end close What We're Looking For ● Detail-oriented and highly organized ● A self-starter who takes ownership of their work ● Naturally curious and eager to improve accounting processes ● Proactively identifies opportunities to improve workflows, increase efficiency, and strengthen internal controls ● Open to learning new systems and continuously improving existing accounting processes ● Comfortable working in a growing manufacturing environment ● Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to maintaining accurate financial records Compensation & Benefits ● Competitive pay (commensurate with experience) ○ $48-$55 per hour (researched market rates and this feels fair, but not tied to it) ● Hybrid work flexibility ● Opportunities for professional growth within a growing manufacturing organization
