Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a variety of CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce high-precision components. Your expertise will ensure that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and meets quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machining equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, contributing to the creation of top-quality products.

Responsibilities

Set up CNC machines such as CNC lathes, and CNC machining centers according to engineering specifications and blueprints.
Program CNC equipment
Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) specifications to ensure accurate production.
Operate various manufacturing tools including press brake machines, stamping presses, fabrication tools, and tooling equipment safely and efficiently.
Conduct routine inspections using precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
Perform regular maintenance on CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Handle materials and finished parts with proper materials handling techniques, including forklift operation when necessary.
Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks, packaging finished products, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

Requirements

Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC lathes, or similar equipment within a manufacturing or factory setting.
Mechanical aptitude with understanding of tooling, fabrication processes, welding, and materials handling techniques.
Proficiency in using precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, micrometer gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
Basic math skills for calculating measurements and machine adjustments;
Comfortable working on assembly lines or in a manufacturing facility environment; factory experience preferred.
Valid certification or experience operating forklifts; knowledge of safety procedures related to factory machinery is required.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
