Experienced Outside Sales Representative

Organization: FX Logistics LLC

Reports to: Operations Manager

Corporate Location: Gainesville, GA (NE Atlanta)

FX Logistics, LLC, a transportation logistics company located near Gainesville, GA, is currently searching for an Experienced Outside Sales Representative. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager and is responsible for generating sales leads and finding new customers. We are looking for applicants who are motivated to expand their career and get involved in a fast-growing company that rewards creative solutions and exceptional service to our customers. FX Logistics has employees in roles that support our customers and sales efforts along with a technology platform including integrated GPS on brokered trucks that enable us to compete with the largest competitors in the industry including asset operations. While the required work schedule typically lies within a standard work week, our company has significant additional business in the fourth quarter every year so the candidate must be flexible in order to support the executive team and operations during this time.

If you want to be part of an integral and progressive industry, consider a position with our team here at FX Logistics. In your role as an Outside Sales Representative, you will work with a close knit team to create and grow customer relationships, analyze customer shipping and receiving needs and develop logistic solutions. Negotiate and set up rates with customers, organize freight procurement while extending customer service.

Responsibilities:

· Build customer relationships over the telephone, email and customer visits

· Coordinate and evaluate program activities designed to provide customers with transportation services

· Negotiate and set up comparable, profitable rates with customers

· Develop and expand customer base to meet with projected growth and goals

· Manage customer affairs including files, sales reports, rate quotations and all correspondence

· Provide excellent customer service

Skills/Requirements:

· Ability to coordinate high phone volume

· Must be able to travel

· Enthusiasm; high energy

· Outgoing personality; negotiation skills

· Must have knowledge and experience in the transportation industry

· Initiate growth and personal development

· Strong customer service skills; effective communication skills

· Ensure carriers understand and comply to the security requirements of our clients
