Full Job Description

Katie L. Lewis, P.C. Family Law is seeking an experienced Front Desk Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for clients, guests, and callers. This full-time, in-office role requires a polished, dependable professional who can manage a busy front desk, handle incoming calls and emails, support the legal team, and create a calm, welcoming, and professional office experience.

Compensation:

$50,000+

Responsibilities:

Answer and direct incoming calls professionally and efficiently
Greet clients, visitors, and vendors warmly and professionally
Create a positive and reassuring first impression for everyone entering the office
Maintain the front desk, lobby, reception area, and conference rooms so they are clean, organized, and fully stocked
Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries accurately and promptly
Provide administrative support to attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants as needed
Assist with organizing, scanning, filing, and maintaining client documents
Help keep office operations running smoothly by noticing needs early and stepping in where needed
Communicate clearly, calmly, and professionally with clients and team members
Handle sensitive interactions with discretion, professionalism, and composure
Protect confidentiality and maintain high standards of professionalism in all interactions

Qualifications:

Previous professional experience as a receptionist, front desk, administrative support, or other client-facing office role
Experience handling incoming telephone calls and resolving challenging situations effectively and professionally
Strong customer service, interpersonal communication, organization, and time management skills
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and follow through without close supervision
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
Experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred
Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused under pressure
Demonstrated reliability, dependability, and willingness to support the team proactively
