Full Job Description

Position Overview

We are looking for a vibrant Junior Design and Social Media Coordinator, eager to grow their digital marketing career in a commercial perspective. The primary focus of this role is producing high-quality creative for Woolroom's digital marketing channels, while managing and growing our social media presence.

The Junior Design and Social Media Coordinator will plan and manage social content for our US and Canadian markets, while providing flexible collaboration to our UK market. Familiarity with social media management platforms like Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, or Sprout is required with a working knowledge of social content strategy, trend identification, post testing, and audience segmentation.

This position is responsible for producing high-quality graphics and creative assets for paid commercial campaigns that help introduce Woolroom to new audiences. A strong design foundation, excellent creative judgment, and a desire to continually develop skills are essential. They will combine creativity with commercial awareness to deliver engaging assets that support performance marketing objectives.

This role requires a keen understanding of how to engage customers with an eCommerce brand like Woolroom. By extending our reach through compelling marketing (for existing and new customers) and on-trend, on-brand social media content, you will be tasked with growing our online audience and overall brand exposure.

This role requires a proactive, go-getter who shows initiative with a strong background in design. This person will meet and exceed deadlines, and integrate into our existing team with a positive attitude and clear communication.

You will support and underpin the Global Growth & Marketing team by achieving and exceeding its objectives. You will report to the Creative Content Manager, working in lockstep with the Digital Marketing Team.

This is an entry-level position. Two years of experience (internship or previous work experience) and a Marketing Degree are preferred, but not required. This is a full-time role based in Charlotte, NC, at our Uptown office location with our North American team. The role will be office based with the occasional hybrid working set up. Occasional travel may be required both domestically and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

· Social Media Marketing: Develop monthly social media content plan, identify trends, creative, photography & video formats for increased engagement, hashtag research, scheduling and posting to meet our target goals. Supporting the US and Canada paid social media teams as well with ad hoc requests and campaign synergies.

· Creative & Content Marketing: Create engaging digital creative and campaign assets within Adobe Creative Suite for social media, paid advertising and other digital marketing channels, while supporting the Creative Content Manager across broader creative projects.

· Analytics and Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to track growth and performance trends. Use data to make informed decisions about future actions and strategies.

· Innovation and Adaptation: Stay updated with social media trends and marketing best practices, understand and implement A/B testing, platform management and updates.

Required Qualifications

· 1–2 years of experience in graphic design, digital marketing, social media, or a related creative role (internships considered)

· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop and Premiere Pro) with the ability to create original digital creative assets. Experience with additional creative tools is beneficial.

· Experience with Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or similar social media management platforms

· Experience managing content across Meta, TikTok, and other social platforms

· Creative eye for visual storytelling with strong attention to detail and brand consistency

· Portfolio demonstrating proficiency in graphic design and digital creative work

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field

· Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools to support content creation and campaign planning

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn performance data into actionable insights

· Strong understanding of social media trends and platform best practices

· Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills in a fast-paced environment

· Experience in the lifestyle, home, wellness, or consumer goods industry is a plus

· Knowledge of sustainable practices and eco-friendly product marketing
