Job Overview:

The Material Handler Driver – Order Picker, under general supervision, distributes either production or non - production items and materials to various locations throughout the warehouse. Materials may consist of purchased parts, in process parts, or finished goods.

Responsibilities:

Move parts or finished product and delivers mail packages to various department locations and/or warehouse locations using an RF scanner.
Maintain the required paperwork and documentation of all parts and materials moved in accordance with the specified procedures.
Ensure safe operating process for all equipment within Charlotte DLC.
Ensure work areas and other designated work areas are maintained in a safe and neat manner.
Assist with the training and instruction of new employees who may be assigned to this area.
Retrieve and count product to fulfill customer orders
Participate in general housekeeping activity
Stocking and arranging of product to ensure warehouse turns of inventory.
Responsible for supporting the Distribution process by receiving and transporting components to the floor in accordance with predetermined safety, quality, method and sequence standards.
Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Requirements:

High school diploma/General Education Degree (GED)
Previous Material Handling experience (cherry/reach lift experience preferred)
Standing and/or walking for entire shift and ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
Bending and/or stooping repeatedly throughout shift
Lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds unassisted on a regular basis
Be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment
Hands –on ability to work in a fast-pace, team-oriented distribution center environment.
Must be able to maintain regular and acceptable attendance, follow directions, understand and follow posted work rules/procedures.
