We’re looking for a hospitality-focused leader who is passionate about customer service, team development, and creating exceptional dining experiences for residents.
At Dallas Retirement Village, our Lead Servers play a key role in maintaining a welcoming dining environment while supporting daily dining room operations and mentoring team members. This position combines hands-on resident service with leadership responsibilities, helping ensure dining standards, cleanliness, and service excellence are consistently achieved.

What You'll Do
Lead Servers help oversee dining room operations while ensuring residents receive exceptional service and hospitality.
Responsibilities include serving meals, assisting residents during dining service, training and mentoring dining staff, scheduling and assigning tasks, monitoring dining room appearance and cleanliness, maintaining pantry organization, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are followed, assisting with dishwashing and cleaning duties, maintaining food temperature documentation, monitoring food storage and labeling procedures, participating in staff training programs, and helping improve the overall dining experience.
You'll work closely with residents, dining staff, and leadership to create a welcoming atmosphere where residents enjoy every meal.
What You Bring

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum one year of customer service experience required
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred
- Previous leadership, trainer, or team lead experience preferred
- Oregon Food Handler's Card or ability to obtain upon hire
- Ability to successfully complete ServSafe training
- Strong customer service and hospitality skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to mentor and support team members
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Professional, dependable, and service-oriented attitude
