Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and sales expertise, particularly in B2B environments. The Sales Representative will be instrumental in conducting product demonstrations, managing accounts, and effectively utilizing Encompass for tracking sales activities.

The ideal candidate will have a background in wine and established relationships with buyers and wine professionals across the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. This role will be centered on maintaining an established territory in Dallas and further developing an emerging account list in the northern suburbs (Plano, Frisco, McKinney).

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive growth.
Identify and engage potential clients through territory management and networking.
Conduct weekly tastings and maintain a rolodex of accounts.
Manage existing accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
Provide feedback on market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform portfolio development.
Attend industry events and trade shows to promote products and expand professional network.

Qualifications

Wine knowledge and 3+ years experience working in wine sales or restaurant management
Strong communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple accounts simultaneously.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on achieving results.
