Full Job Description

Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our team in Dallas. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a solid understanding of Agile (Scrum) methodologies. You will drive the gathering of requirements, facilitate process improvements, and ensure successful project delivery. Required Skills: • Demonstrated experience working within Agile frameworks (Scrum), with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes. • Strong understanding of software development processes and experience with system integrations. • Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL is a plus. • Experience with JIRA and Confluence for project management and documentation. • Experience using Microsoft tools for reporting and data visualization. • Proven ability to analyze complex business problems and conduct gap analysis and impact analysis. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality project outcomes. Key Responsibilities: • Lead workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather, refine, and document business and technical requirements. • Analyze current business processes (As-Is) and design future-state (To-Be) processes while identifying opportunities for improvement. • Develop user personas and journey maps to understand user needs and business workflows. • Collaborate with development teams and solution architects to translate business requirements into functional specifications, business rules, UI requirements, and data requirements. • Create and maintain functional design documents, user stories, process flow diagrams, and other project documentation. • Assist Product Owners with project planning, roadmap development, backlog refinement, and estimation activities. • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. • Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements. • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. • Recommend and implement continuous process improvements and best practices. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience conducting requirements gathering sessions with business users and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). • Experience working closely with Product Owners to refine and prioritize product backlogs. • Familiarity with Business Process Management (BPM) and Cloud Technologies. • Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-ACP, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) are a plus.
