Full Job Description

Our Client: A leading technology and mobility organization focused on building secure, resilient industrial systems, is seeking an AI Architect OT Cybersecurity. This role offers the chance to shape practical AI capabilities that strengthen cybersecurity operations across operational technology (OT) environments directly improving safety, system integrity, and business continuity.

Position: AI Architect OT Cybersecurity
Duration: 1 - year plus (multi-year engagement)
Location: Remote (50% travel to Manufacturing locations)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Remote)

Role Summary:
Join Our Client s Enterprise Security & Cyber Risk team to design and enable secure, scalable AI-driven solutions for OT cybersecurity operations. You ll identify high-value use cases, translate real operational challenges into actionable AI architectures, and collaborate across cybersecurity, engineering, operations, data, and enterprise technology teams. From solution design to pilot and production roadmaps, you ll help bring large language model, retrieval-augmented generation, and workflow orchestration into day-to-day OT security workflows. Your impact will be felt in faster incident response, smarter documentation, and better decision support grounded in the realities of industrial operations.

Responsibilities:

Identify and prioritize high-value OT cybersecurity use cases for AI-enabled impact
Translate business and operational challenges into practical AI solution opportunities
Design end-to-end AI solution architectures (data inputs, retrieval layers, integrations, orchestration, governance, monitoring)
Develop architectures and implementation roadmaps for pilot and production deployment
Integrate AI solutions with enterprise platforms, APIs, cloud services, knowledge repositories, and OT/cybersecurity tooling
Apply AI to accelerate documentation review, knowledge retrieval, issue summarization, remediation support, and reporting
Partner cross-functionally to support adoption and ensure alignment to risk and enterprise standards
Travel to factories/operational sites to validate use cases and ensure operational fit

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

Experience designing enterprise/industrial solutions that solve operational or business problems
Proven ability to build practical AI architectures with strong security and risk judgment
Cross-functional collaboration experience across cybersecurity, engineering, operations, and data teams
Familiarity with modern AI patterns (RAG, embeddings, vector databases, prompt engineering, workflow orchestration)

Required Skills/Experience:

Bachelor s degree in CS/IT/Engineering/Cybersecurity/Data Science (or equivalent experience)
AI/ML/automation solution architecture experience for enterprise or industrial contexts
Working knowledge of large language models, RAG, semantic search, embeddings, vector DBs, model APIs, and orchestration
Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and scalable solution designs
Knowledge of cloud platforms, APIs, data integration, and enterprise architecture patterns
Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills

Other Skills:

Familiarity with agentic workflows and enterprise AI platforms/services
Experience with model governance and responsible AI practices
Situational awareness and practical problem-solving in real OT environments
Automotive or industrial/manufacturing domain exposure (preferred)

Important Notes:

This role includes travel to factories/operational sites to observe workflows and validate AI use cases.
