Full Job Description

Overview

Ollie’s Azul House is an elevated taco and tequila concept located in the historic blue Oliver House in Rowlett. We are building a hospitality experience that extends beyond daily dining into private events, corporate gatherings, celebrations, and curated group experiences.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Event Coordinator to develop, sell, and execute private events that align with our brand and service standards. This role combines sales, client communication, logistics coordination, and on-site execution.

This is not just planning. This is revenue generation and flawless delivery.

Responsibilities

Respond to private event inquiries and convert leads into booked events
Collaborate with clients to define event goals, menus, beverage selections, and logistics
Develop event proposals, pricing, and contracts
Coordinate event timelines, staffing needs, and floor plans
Work closely with kitchen and bar leadership to ensure seamless execution
Oversee on-site event operations to maintain service and brand standards
Manage budgeting, deposits, invoicing, and final billing
Upsell food, beverage, and add-on enhancements to increase event revenue
Maintain organized records of contracts, vendor contacts, and event documentation
Conduct post-event follow-ups to strengthen client relationships and encourage repeat bookings

Requirements

2+ years of experience in event coordination, hospitality sales, or restaurant event management preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Experience managing event budgets and contracts
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for events
Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

Experience in restaurant, hotel, or banquet operations
Sales-driven mindset with commission-based experience
Familiarity with event marketing and social promotion
