Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Apparel Sample Sewing Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality garment samples that accurately represent design concepts and specifications. Your expertise in sewing and garment construction will ensure that each sample meets our quality standards, helping to bring innovative fashion ideas to life. Responsibilities
- Operate sewing machines efficiently to assemble garment samples according to detailed specifications and patterns
- Interpret design sketches, technical drawings, and sample instructions to ensure accurate construction
- Use garment construction techniques to create prototypes that reflect the intended fit, style, and quality standards
- Collaborate with designers and pattern makers to troubleshoot sewing issues and refine sample details
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sewing workspace, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Inspect finished samples for quality, accuracy, and consistency, making adjustments as needed
- Support warehouse operations by managing sample materials, fabrics, and trims for efficient workflow
Experience
- Proven experience in garment construction and sewing within a manufacturing or apparel environment
- Skilled in operating various sewing machines with precision and speed
- Strong understanding of sewing techniques, pattern assembly, and finishing processes
- Prior warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating ability to handle materials efficiently
- Familiarity with working in fast-paced production settings while maintaining high-quality standards
- Knowledge of fabric types, trims, and garment assembly methods is highly desirable
