Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a global law firm, who are looking to recruit an experienced Associate to join their Transactions team based in Dallas.

JOB DETAILS

PAY RATE: $290,000 - $390,000 Per Annum
WORK TYPE: Permanent
WORK PATTERN: Full Time
LOCATION: Dallas

JOB ROLE

We are looking for a highly motivated Corporate Associate to join my clients integrated Transactions Practice Group. This team advises publicly and privately held middle market and upper middle market companies, as well as private equity sponsors, on a wide range of sophisticated matters, with a primary focus on U.S. and cross-border M&A transactions.

This role is ideally suited to a confident “deal runner” who is comfortable managing transactions with limited supervision and working closely with partners, senior associates, and clients.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

Lead and manage U.S. and cross-border M&A transactions
Advise private equity firms and corporate clients on complex deals
Support securities matters and general corporate advisory work
Provide guidance on corporate governance and commercial transactions
Work directly with clients and senior stakeholders throughout the deal lifecycle

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

Experience advising on complex corporate transactions, including private equity and mid-market M&A
Strong background in securities, corporate governance, and general corporate matters
Experience with venture financings is advantageous but not essential
Confident managing deals and taking ownership of key workstreams
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
JD from an ABA Law School
Admitted to the State Bar
4 - 6 years PQE
