AI Solutions Analyst
POSITION DESCRIPTION
POSITION SUMMARY:
The AI Solutions Analyst supports the firm's Artificial Intelligence (AI) strategy as a technical resource responsible for the implementation, configuration, administration, testing, integration support, and optimization of AI technologies and AI-enabled workflows. As a member of the Practice Innovation Team, this position helps translate approved business needs and project requirements into practical, secure, and supportable AI solutions.
The AI Solutions Analyst works closely with the Practice Innovation Team, practice groups, Information Technology Team, Knowledge Management, and external vendors to support the deployment and ongoing management of AI platforms. The role provides technical input on feasibility, configuration, integrations, testing, data flow, reporting, support requirements, and solution performance.
This position is responsible for ensuring that AI solutions are implemented reliably, documented appropriately, supported effectively, and aligned with firm security, confidentiality, privacy, ethical, and client service requirements. The role is less focused on owning business strategy or practice group prioritization and more focused on the technical execution, support, and continuous improvement of AI-enabled solutions.
This position reports directly to the Practice Innovation & Technology Manager.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Administer, configure, maintain, and optimize AI technologies and AI-enabled business solutions utilized throughout the firm, including user provisioning, licensing, permissions, security groups, platform settings, and release support.
2. Configure AI tools, workspaces, prompt templates, model instructions, retrieval settings, automation components, connectors, workflow features, and AI agent settings based on approved requirements and governance standards.
3. Serve as a technical resource for attorneys and business stakeholders using AI-enabled solutions, while working closely with the Practice Innovation & Technology Manager as the primary business-facing contact for AI solution requests, prioritization, and practice group engagement.
4. Support discussions with attorneys, practice groups, and administrative departments regarding business challenges and opportunities that may benefit from AI-enabled solutions, providing technical insight on feasibility, configuration, integration, security, and support requirements.
5. Work closely with the Business Analyst to review, validate, and translate business, functional, technical, data, reporting, and compliance requirements into technical specifications, configuration needs, testing plans, and implementation tasks for AI initiatives.
6. Analyze approved legal and business workflows from a technical implementation perspective to identify configuration needs, integration points, data dependencies, automation opportunities, security considerations, output-handling requirements, and ongoing support needs.
7. Assist in designing, documenting, implementing, and supporting integrations between AI platforms and firm systems, including document management, knowledge management, CRM, financial, practice management, litigation support, and other enterprise systems.
8. Collaborate with Information Technology security and Data, Infrastructure, and vendor teams to support and facilitate the implementation of AI solutions.
9. Provide day-to-day technical support for AI applications, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, user assistance, vendor coordination and support ticket management
10. Perform testing and user acceptance support for AI workflows, integrations, agent behavior, and security controls.
11. Support the tracking, monitoring and reporting on AI platform utilization, system performance, system health, support trends, incidents, and user engagement.
12. Participate in pilot programs, proof-of-concept initiatives, technology evaluations, AI agent development efforts, and reviews of emerging AI and legal technology solutions, with a focus on technical feasibility, configuration complexity, integration requirements, security, supportability, and operational risk.
13. Support the firm's AI governance and adoption efforts by implementing approved technical controls, access standards, data handling procedures, and configuration practices.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Legal Technology, or a related field required.
Relevant certifications in Artificial Intelligence, Microsoft Copilot, Legal Technology, Application Administration, Data Analytics, Business Analysis, Project Management, or related disciplines preferred.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
3+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications, legal technology platforms, AI platforms, workflow automation tools, systems analysis, application administration, integrations, or data and reporting technologies.
Experience interpreting business and functional requirements and translating them into technical specifications, configuration tasks, testing activities, and support procedures required.
Experience supporting software implementations, application configuration, troubleshooting, testing, vendor escalations, and end-user support required.
Experience with legal technology, law firm systems, or professional services environments strongly preferred.
Experience with low-code automation tools, APIs, reporting tools, Microsoft 365 technologies, or AI-enabled platforms preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Strong application administration and configuration skills, including user access, permissions, platform settings, workflow configuration, and release support.
- Knowledge of artificial intelligence technologies, including Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, AI agents, and enterprise AI platforms.
- Understanding of system integrations, APIs, data flows, single sign-on, access controls, logging, and enterprise application architecture concepts.
- Ability to translate business, functional, data, reporting, and compliance requirements into technical specifications, configuration needs, testing plans, and implementation tasks.
- Experience testing software applications, validating system configurations, documenting defects, supporting user acceptance testing, and coordinating remediation efforts.
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, coordinate vendor escalations, and communicate resolution steps clearly.
- Experience developing technical documentation, runbooks, support procedures, training materials, user guides, and knowledge articles.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to attorneys, professional staff, vendors, and non-technical stakeholders.
- Understanding of legal service delivery, law firm operations, confidentiality obligations, privileged information, and the application of AI technologies in a legal environment.
- Ability to evaluate AI technologies from technical, operational, security, compliance, integration, and supportability perspectives.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
PHYSICAL EFFORT:
Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Some stretching, reaching, walking, and climbing stairs required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Indoor office environment with occasional travel to firm offices. Extended periods working on a PC and phone. Some evening or weekend work may be required for implementations, upgrades, training sessions, or support activities.
JOB STATUS:
Exempt, Full-time, 40 hours per week, Hybrid position.
